Caregivers As Partners in Care Teams (CAP-CT) is a national training program that provides health care teams with the skills and confidence to include family caregivers in a patient’s care journey. Through training and practical resources, health care teams can learn to identify, engage, and support caregivers, leading to better care for patients and their caregivers.
The Arnold P. Gold Foundation champions humanism in healthcare, which they define as clinically excellent care that is kind, safe, and trustworthy. Founded in 1988, the Gold Foundation’s vision is that healthcare will be dramatically improved by placing the interests, values and dignity of all people at the core of teaching and practice. Research repeatedly shows such human-centered care benefits both patients and clinicians. The Gold Foundation is the home of the White Coat Ceremony, the Gold Humanism Honor Society, the Tell Me More® communication tool, and many other programs.
