The Fall 2024 Telementoring Series is now accepting registrations. The cohort meets over six, one-hour sessions:

  • October 8, 22
  • November 5, 19
  • December 3, 17
  • January 7, 2025 (optional Train-the-Trainer session)

This virtual workshop series provides healthcare professionals the space to practice Patient Priorities Care through discussion and case-based coaching.

Why should I join this workshop series?

PPC is an Age-Friendly, evidence-based, and feasible clinical practice associated with improved outcomes, including:

  • Reduced treatment burden
  • Reduced unwanted care
  • Increased desired care

How does this training enhance the online modules?

These interactive coaching sessions expand on the core trainings with discussions centered around real cases from participants.

How much time do I need to commit?

The core content of the course will be delivered over six sessions, with an optional seventh session geared towards those (with or without formal roles in education) who wish to teach this framework to other health professionals or trainees. Each session is one hour long.

Who can enroll?

Health professionals and educators of all disciplines who want to provide clinical care that focuses on What Matters to patients or who carry out curricula to educate others to provide care that aligns with What Matters.

Do I get a certification or CEUs?

Yes! Participants who miss no more than one live, virtual session will receive an “Expert in Patient Priorities Care” certificate. Sessions will be recorded, but live attendance is required to receive certification.

Participants can earn six continuing education credits (free!) for live attendance of the full series. The following disciplines are eligible: JA IPCE, ACCME, ACCME-NP, ANCC, NBCC, ACPE, APA, NYSED P, ASWB, NYSED SW, AAPA, APTA, AOTA

How much does this cost?

All of our training and resources are free and open access for everyone, including this workshop series.

Will you join us?

Registrants will be accepted on a rolling basis until the attendance cap is reached. Any overflow is invited to join the next session.
